Did Egderus ever break his silence on the subject of this purported Fellowship? It is tempting to think of the so-called "Sermon at the First Gathering" as a kind of apologia, or at least the introduction to one. However, the apparent sequence of composition would tend to rule out such a conjecture. Unless the Sermon was not Egderus' first....
