The dialog box that appears when you click on this tool is called the Roadmap [image not available — Ed.], and the view of the structure it presents takes considerable experience to be able to interpret. It is unlikely that this tool will be useful to anyone who is not thoroughly familiar with Storyspace, the application used to compose this hypertext. However, it does show information about the structure (particularly how links connect spaces) that cannot be seen easily any other way. The recommended procedure is to stare at it for a while, and if it still does not speak to you, go on without it.
